Such was the case when socialite Lauri Welteroth began to plan her daughter's wedding. Since coming to Palm Beach four years ago, she's always trusted her most important events to Dazzle Creative. The two-day spectacular began with a Moroccan extravaganza held in a tent erected in back of Bel Sueno, Welteroth's Palm Beach estate. Draped fabric, silk tassels, layers of carpet, sumptuous sofas, and stunning furnishings filled the structure and courtyard, enveloping guests in authenticity. Entertainment included a Middle Eastern band, belly dancers, and six working hookahs for guests to try. Dramatic lighting and thousands of orchid blooms completed the magic, leaving no detail unattended. And that was just the warm up.
On Sunday, Lauren Welteroth and Alejo Mo-Sun's wedding commenced at Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago Club. Layers of white billowing fabric magically transformed the grand ballroom into a candle-lit chapel. Projections of glass chapel windows, which illuminated the walls, were enhanced by stunning cream and soft pink florals set atop golden pedestals. An angelic opera singer accompanied by a string quartette, filled the air with heavenly music.
Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed poolside fireworks by Grucci, while Dazzle's team reset the ballroom for the reception. Dazzle owner/event producer James Rota, says, "In what can only be described as a finely choreographed ballet, the vendors came together as one to transform the room in record time."
The room glowed with romance, awash in delicate golden light created by luminaries and countless candles. Centerpieces comprised of golden-hued candles with a raw silk finish nestled into floral arrangements adorned tables and also towered five feet above. Custom linens in cream and gold Dupioni silk adorned square and royal style dining tables. Hand-beaded silk runners enhanced each royal table, while compliments of the same inserts decorated the corners of the square tables. All around the room, custom pedestals dripped with florals, completed the look.
While guests danced and enjoyed epicurean delights from the menu or lavish tasting stations, Dazzle's team transformed the pool area into a west coast style after party. Copper fire pits, oversized lounge furniture, glowing luminaries, and highly stylized florals surrounded the pool while the white-and-gold ballroom became a Venetian-style dessert wonderland.
